Kenzies’ Run is a licensed kennel where we raise, and breed Siberian Huskies. We are located just minutes from Merrickville, Ontario.
Our pack is growing, and right now we have three breeding pairs. We expect to have three litters from those pairs within the next year (2016); one in the summer, one in the fall and one in the winter. If you are interested in more information or in obtaining one of our puppies, please contact us.
It is our goal to place our pups with the right owners and to ensure that they become welcome and loved members of your family. All of our puppies are born in our house and are raised in a safe and healthy environment. Our Sire and Dame are strong, sociable, healthy, and active parents who give us a tremendous amount of love, and in turn are loved dearly by us.
We are extremely proud of our huskies and are particular about who we home them with. Many people choose to buy a Siberian Husky due to their intelligence, personality, and because this breed loves to be around people. But they are not an easy breed to raise and are definitely not for first time dog owners. We screen prospective owners carefully before sending one of our pups out into the world.
Our puppies are black and white, and usually have light blue eyes but some vary in eye color, and will otherwise have brown eyes or even one blue eye and one brown eye. These dogs are all outgoing, friendly animals with loads of energy that will make great family pets for active people who can keep up with their need for exercise.
We started down this road in 2010 when we got our first Siberian husky “Laddie”. He came to us from our son Alex and quickly became a loved member of the family. After having Laddie for a year we decided he should have a companion, which led to us acquiring Mackenzie. We decided to get a female so we could start on our path as breeders and we have never looked back.
Our love affair with these beautiful, intelligent animals was well on its way at this point, and we knew we wanted to devote our time to this breed. Our house in the city wasn’t the greatest place to raise our dogs so we looked far and wide for a home in the country and found a wonderful home with enough land for our dogs to run (we did have to build a fence of course!).
If you have any questions about our dogs, our litters, or the breed in general, please feel free to contact us.
