Laddie was our first Siberian Husky. He came to us at 10 months old from our son Alex. We immediately fell in love with Laddie, his tough guy persona was quickly overpowered by his unyielding loyalty and affection.
Laddie was our lead dog, and sire to four litters making him the father of fifteen puppies. He was a strong leader and could sometimes be a bit of a curmudgeon when the other dogs wanted to play. He took no guff and cut a mean profile.
He’s made some long treks, traveling once from Stittsville to Parliament Hill, a distance of 26 kilometers, in 4 hours. He loved the snow and often refused to come inside despite the frigid temperatures.
Laddie sadly passed away in the early morning hours of January 28th, 2020. He will be horribly missed by everyone one here; both human and dog.
